March 3-13, 2017
Ben Guerir, Morocco
This trip involved Global First Responder members and volunteers going to Marrakech, Morocco. We worked to provide medical and humanitarian aid to locals.
Our volunteers offered medical clinics and health education classes and engaged in community service projects for the area. We worked with local physicians to provide primary health care for all ages. The health education classes covered general hygiene, disease prevention, infant care, CPR, and first-aid training. The classes were open to the public and health officials in the area.
We are always excited to be helping out, however, we particularly enjoyed working in Marrakech, Morocco—somewhere we hadn’t been before. We are grateful to have the opportunity to help to improve the lives of others and the well-being of communities!
