Mike Ruesler is a native of Missouri. He was born and raised in St. Louis, and
eventually made Columbia his home after attending the University of Missouri
and graduating with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. Mike currently manages
outside sales and material installations for Centurion Stone, a small business
in Columbia. He also has served on the boards of multiple different not-for-
profits over the past 13 years.

Mike has joined three GFR trips, his most recent being to the Peruvian Amazon
where he saw first-hand GFR’s approach in helping care for people. “There is
no ‘lather, rinse, repeat’ methodology when it comes to GFR’s approach in
helping people,” he says. “It’s truly about identifying needs and working to find
the best possible solution to their problems. Whether that is through medicine,
health education, or infrastructure projects.”

Mike is honored to serve on GFR’s board and help to support and grow the
mission.
