HealthCare Ministries

HealthCare Ministries (HCM) is the international medical evangelism outreach of Assemblies of God World Missions. HCM serves the international community in the areas of health education, psychosocial Intervention, disability awareness, community health evangelism, medical, dental, optical, pharmacy, and disaster response.

Lingkod Timog is a nonprofit organization that conducts charitable, educational, cultural, medical, and life enrichment activities to needy areas in the Philippines. 

Volunteers may join to assist on medical missions.

Agape Asia Foundation

Agape Asia Foundation is a nonprofit organization that works to help children who are orphaned, abandoned, struggling in abject poverty, and often suffering from heart conditions and devastating burns.

Bay Area Surgical Mission

Bay Area Surgical Mission is a nonprofit organization of volunteer physicians, nurses, and medical technicians that provide free medical care and education in Camarines Norte, a remote province of the Philippines. 

Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps

Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps is a private, non-sectarian, non-profit organization dedicated to improving quality of life through provision of medical services and health education.

Volunteer medical professionals—physicians, pharmacists, dentists, nurses, and medical technologists—are needed in many areas within Taiwan and internationally.

Gospel Ministries International

Gospel Ministries International is a nonprofit organization which seizes opportunities to carry God’s love, through sacrifice, to the world.

Long-term volunteers may serve internationally or domestically in the areas of medical, dental, natural remedies, physical therapy, orphanage work, or social work.

Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children

The Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children, a non-profit organization incorporated in Washington, D.C. and headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, provides access to medical care for millions of underprivileged and medically underserved children around the world.

Volunteers from all walks of life, from college students to medical professionals, are welcome.

Association of Baptists for World Evangelism

The Association of Baptists for World Evangelism, an independent mission agency based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has healthcare ministries throughout the world, which include full-service hospitals, mobile and itinerant medical clinics, crisis pregnancy centers, and community health evangelism teams.

Volunteer anesthesiologists, dentists, dental hygienists, hospital administrators, midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, obstetricians and gynecologists, pediatricians, pharmacists, and physical therapists, physicians, physician assistants, and surgeons are needed.

Foundation for International Education in Neurological Surgery

The Foundation for International Education in Neurological Surgery, a nonprofit organization, was founded by a group of leading neurosurgeons in order to address the critical lack of trained neurosurgeons in developing countries.

Volunteer neurosurgeons and personnel teach their techniques to local neurosurgeons, set up neurosurgery residency programs, and provide critical assistance in the operating room.

World Surgical Foundation

World Surgical Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, is committed to providing charitable surgical healthcare to the world’s poor and underserved in developing nations regardless of race, color, religion, or creed.

Philos Health

With the help of volunteer doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, Philos Health, an international nonprofit corporation based in San Francisco, is able to provide medical, surgical, and dental care to residents of the Philippines who have limited access to medical care.

Tahanan Sta. Luisa

Tahanan Sta. Luisa, an NGO, is a crisis intervention and recovery center in the Philippines whose mission is to provide rehabilitation for physically/sexually abused and prostituted street girls between the ages of 11–15 years old upon admission.

The principal purpose of ChildHope Philippines, a nonprofit organization, is to advocate for the cause of street children in the Philippines.

Jesuit Missions UK, a nonprofit organization, welcomes volunteers of all ages and backgrounds for short and long-term volunteering opportunities in Africa, Central America, and Asia.

Elim Missions, a UK-registered charity, had mission opportunities in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.

Food for the Hungry

Food for the Hungry is an international relief and development organization that strives to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the poor in more than 26 countries. When disasters strike, Food for the Hungry is often one of the first organizations on the ground to provide and facilitate emergency relief assistance to those in urgent need of food, shelter, and medical care.

HELP International

The mission of the nonprofit HELP International is to empower people to fight global poverty through sustainable, life-changing development programs.

Each year, HELP International sends volunteers and interns abroad to El Salvador, Peru, Uganda, India, Nepal, Thailand, Fiji, and the Philippines, where they plan and implement service and development projects.

OMF International

OMF International, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Colorado, partners with local churches to serve communities and demonstrate Christ’s love in practical ways.

Christians in Action—a nonprofit organization based in Fresno, California—has the goal to plant indigenous national churches by evangelism.

Medical relief missions are offered as a way to open the door to effective evangelism and church planting.

The Healing Hands Foundation

The Healing Hands Foundation is an all volunteer, non-profit organization providing high quality health care to patients in areas lacking medical resources and surgical expertise. The foundation provides pediatric surgery, general surgery, plastic surgery, OB/GYN care and surgery, dental care, cardiology services, and general adult and pediatric medicine with the aim of improving quality of life, decreasing incidence of illness and death, and enabling people to be productive members of their community.

Helping Hands Medical Missions

Helping Hands Medical Missions is a nonprofit organization which aims to deliver compassionate health care and the Gospel to the most in need in the developing world.

Volunteer health professionals are needed in the following fields: primary care, surgery, anesthesiology, nursing, optometry, rehabilitation, community health, dentistry, counseling, and pharmacy.

Life Is Great Global Foundation

Life Is Great Global Foundation is a nonprofit organization which strives to bring together medical and non-medical volunteers who can provide medical care and relief to those in need. The foundation wishes to inspire medical volunteerism by educating healthcare professionals and sending them on medical missions to under-served areas.
