A Little About Chandrasekhar Palepu

Moving to india gave me an opportunity to travel to rural villages. We, as a family, are part of service activities all the time. In America, we used to visit Missionaries of Charity, in Norristown every fourth Sunday for a soup kitchen project since I was in elementary school. I used to stand and give away packed breakfast bags and lunch. Slowly, I got promoted to dishwashing, which was a exciting for me at the time. But more importantly, I loved helping people and I realized I wanted to do more. I realized I’d always be doing this. After coming to India, in addition to rigorous school work my passion towards service and our family tradition of being part of these activities encouraged me to travel to rural areas along with local doctors every other month to do free medical camps. And that’s where I find myself today. Trying to go bigger, to do better, and to make a difference.
