Catholic Medical Mission Board is a nonprofit organization that provides long-term, community-based medical and development aid to communities affected by poverty and unequal access to health care

A variety of volunteer opportunities are offered for health professionals such as health administrators, internists, midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, nutritionists, OB/GYNs, pediatricians, physical therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, public health experts, and surgeons.

Resurge International

Resurge International is a nonprofit organization that provides reconstructive surgical care for poor children and adults who lack access in 15 developing countries. 

Volunteers include plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, operating room and recovery room nurses, nurse educators, hand therapists, and physical therapists. 

CURE International

CURE International is a nonprofit Christian healthcare network that operates charitable hospitals and programs in underserved countries worldwide.

CURE International sends volunteer healthcare professionals to serve, teach, and mentor their in-country staff, as well as provide continuity of care during a leave of absence.
