Christian Health Service Corps

Christian Health Service Corps is a nonprofit community of Christian doctors, health professionals, and health educators serving the poor in places that have little or no access to health care. 

There are two forms of service through Christian Health Service Corps. One is for professionals and spouses seeking to serve at mission hospitals and health programs, and the other is for healthcare and allied health professionals seeking to work at the community level focusing more on health promotion than healthcare delivery.

Operation Blessing International

Operation Blessing International is a nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated to demonstrating God’s love by alleviating human need and suffering in the United States and around the world. Strategic relief is provided in 39 countries on an ongoing basis through core programs such as disaster relief, medical aid, hunger relief, vulnerable children and orphan care, clean water, and community development.

Doctors, nurses, dentists, oral surgeons, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other medical professionals volunteer on medical and dental teams that work to sustain patients who have suffered the devastation of disaster and are in need of medical and dental treatment. 

Baitulmaal

Baitulmaal is an international charity and relief organization devoted to sustainable development and disaster relief.

American Refugee Committee

American Refugee Committee is a nonprofit organization that works with refugees to help them survive crises and rebuild lives of dignity, health, security, and self-sufficiency.

Applications are accepted from those with skills in medicine for volunteer/intern positions at overseas locations.  

Partners In Health

Partners In Health is a nonprofit international health organization committed to improving the health of the poor and marginalized in New Mexico, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Peru, Russia, Mexico, Malawi, Lesotho, Rwanda, and Haiti.

Centura Global Health Initiatives

Centura Global Health Initiatives is a short-term medical mission program that sends volunteers to remote locations to provide no-cost medical and health services to people in need.

Surgeons, anesthesiologists, family medicine doctors, internal medicine doctors, OB/GYN doctors, pediatric doctors, and ED, ICU, OR, PACU, and general RNs, and other health care professionals are needed as volunteers.

CURE International

CURE International is a nonprofit Christian healthcare network that operates charitable hospitals and programs in underserved countries worldwide.

CURE International sends volunteer healthcare professionals to serve, teach, and mentor their in-country staff, as well as provide continuity of care during a leave of absence.

Operation Smile

Operation Smile is an international medical charity that provides free surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate, or other facial deformities. 
 

Medical volunteers provide life-saving surgical and post-operative care to patients in the world’s most underserved environments. All medical volunteers are required to be active in their profession. Medical volunteers that are accepted are anesthesiologists, pediatric anesthesiologists, dentists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, OR/RR/pre-post nurses, pediatricians, surgeons (plastic, oral maxillofacial, and cleft), pediatric cardiologists, pediatric intensivists and neonatologists, certified child life specialists, speech pathologists, biomed technicians

A Broader View

A Broader View is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide developing countries around the world with significant volunteer programs that both aid the neediest communities and forge a lasting bond between those volunteering and those they have helped.
