Friends of Mandritsara

Friends of Mandritsara, a nonprofit organization in northern Madagascar, is comprised of the Good News Hospital, the Good News School, a radio station, a nursing school, and the local Bible Baptist church. The aim is to give every hospital patient, radio listener, and school child excellent care and education along with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Volunteers may assist in roles such as nurse, PA, health aid, medical student, resident in training, doctor, psychologist, or social worker.

Preventing Cervical Cancer

Medical volunteers provide life-saving surgical and post-operative care to patients in the world’s most underserved environments. All medical volunteers are required to be active in their profession. Medical volunteers that are accepted are anesthesiologists, pediatric anesthesiologists, dentists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, OR/RR/pre-post nurses, pediatricians, surgeons (plastic, oral maxillofacial, and cleft), pediatric cardiologists, pediatric intensivists and neonatologists, certified child life specialists, speech pathologists, biomed technicians

Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders is an international medical humanitarian organization working in nearly 70 countries to assist people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe. 

A wide variety of volunteers are needed: physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, specialists in infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS, and TB, surgeons, nurse midwives, certified midwives, licensed mental health specialists, anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, pharmacists, obstetricians/gynecologists, epidemiologists, operating room nurses, and laboratory technicians.
