Healing the Children Southwest

The mission of Healing the Children Southwest—a non-profit organization in Albuquerque, New Mexico—is to provide health care to children in New Mexico and around the world who are unable to receive the care either due to lack of services or financial resources.

Healing the Children organizes surgical teams consisting of volunteer surgeons, anesthesiologists, operating room and recovery nurses, pediatricians or family practitioners, and therapists to El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru, and Ecuador. Trips abroad are also arranged for volunteer physicians and nurses interested in providing free pediatric clinics to rural areas. Doctors, nurses, and hospitals are needed to donate services in Albuquerque.

Healing the Children Rocky Mountains

Healing the Children Rocky Mountains is a non-profit organization which provides medical care to children around the world through medical missions.

Medical volunteers are needed both for local care and also for medical mission teams that travel abroad to Peru and Guatemala. The teams are made up of surgeons, anesthesiologists, anesthesia techs, OR nurses, recovery room nurses, scrub techs, speech therapists, audiologists, pediatricians, CRNAs, and AAs.

Rural Community Development Program

Rural Community Development Program is a non-profit, philanthropic organization which encourages international volunteers to contribute in sustainable community development that benefits the underprivileged and extremely poor.

The Association of Baptists for World Evangelism, an independent mission agency based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has healthcare ministries throughout the world, which include full-service hospitals, mobile and itinerant medical clinics, crisis pregnancy centers, and community health evangelism teams.

Volunteer anesthesiologists, dentists, dental hygienists, hospital administrators, midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, obstetricians and gynecologists, pediatricians, pharmacists, and physical therapists, physicians, physician assistants, and surgeons are needed.

Foundation for International Education in Neurological Surgery

The Foundation for International Education in Neurological Surgery, a nonprofit organization, was founded by a group of leading neurosurgeons in order to address the critical lack of trained neurosurgeons in developing countries.

Volunteer neurosurgeons and personnel teach their techniques to local neurosurgeons, set up neurosurgery residency programs, and provide critical assistance in the operating room.
