Virtual Doctors, a Uk-based non profit organization, provides sophisticated yet easy to use telemedicine software and smartphones with internet access in order to enable health workers in rural Zambia to send electronic patient files to volunteer doctors for diagnosis and treatment advice, helping to save lives.

Generalists and specialists who are licensed to practice in Zambia or the UK are welcome to volunteer.

The Association of Baptists for World Evangelism, an independent mission agency based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has healthcare ministries throughout the world, which include full-service hospitals, mobile and itinerant medical clinics, crisis pregnancy centers, and community health evangelism teams.

Volunteer anesthesiologists, dentists, dental hygienists, hospital administrators, midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, obstetricians and gynecologists, pediatricians, pharmacists, and physical therapists, physicians, physician assistants, and surgeons are needed.

Medical Justice

British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) is an English charity that runs a nationwide network of free diagnostic assessment clinics in order to sort out the performance-related health problems of professional and student performing artists, mostly musicians. The majority of patients that are seen have muscular problems, but other issues, such as difficulties around voice, hearing, and mental health, can also arise.

BAPAM relies entirely on doctors (mostly GPs but also occupational health and sports medicine specialists) who either provide their services for free or for a limited payment.
