Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps is a private, non-sectarian, non-profit organization dedicated to improving quality of life through provision of medical services and health education.

Volunteer medical professionals—physicians, pharmacists, dentists, nurses, and medical technologists—are needed in many areas within Taiwan and internationally.

Children in Distress

Children in Distress is a charity dedicated to helping suffering children in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.

The agency has an ongoing need to share best practice with local medical, nursing, therapy, and care staff and welcomes contact with volunteers who wish to share their experience and expertise.

International Children’s Heart Foundation

International Children’s Heart Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide free cardiac surgery to kids in developing countries while providing education to local teams.

Medical mission trips are made up of volunteer medical professionals with experience working with pediatric cardiac surgical patients, including pediatric cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, OR nurses, pediatric cardiologists, ICU nurses, intensivists, and respiratory therapists. Urgently needed are pediatric surgeons, pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, OR nurses, and RNFAs with cardiac experience.

SEE International is a nonprofit organization that provides sustainable medical, surgical, and educational services through volunteer ophthalmic surgeons with the objectives of restoring sight and preventing blindness to disadvantaged individuals worldwide.

Project Hope

Project HOPE is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to achieve sustainable advances in health care around the world by implementing health education programs and providing humanitarian assistance and volunteer medical care in areas of need.

Volunteers are needed. This includes nurses, ophthalmologists, physician specialists, and others.
